FACTS AND HISTORY
Construction of our community began in 2005. We now have approximately 5100 people residing in Silverado, with 2344 dwellings over an area approximately 5.1 square kilometers. Silverado is situated directly adjacent to the world class equestrian sport facility, Spruce Meadows.
We have close to 53 acres of pathways and green space that are owned by the Silverado Residents Association. Every homeowner in our community is a co-owner of this shared property, and it is the responsibility of the Residents Association to maintain these spaces for the enjoyment of all residents of Silverado.
We are a voluntary board of your neighbours who have given our time to help ensure that we as a community live up to our obligations and strive to maintain our green spaces for the benefit of all, which add to our quality of living and property values in this great Community of Silverado.
The Silverado Residents Association is different from the Silverado Community Association. While membership in the Community Association is voluntary and fees are not mandatory, every homeowner in our Community is automatically a member of the Residents Association.
This membership is not optional, it is in fact mandated by the encumbrance that is placed on the title of every home. The purpose of the Residents Association is to maintain the green space owned by the Association.
Once you have taken ownership of your property from the Builder the Residents Association Fees will be applied and be retro-active to your sale date and you are responsible to ensure payment of the fees in a timely fashion to avoid legal collection.
If you have taken ownership from a resale, the Residents Associaiton Fees will be adjusted by your legal counsel for the year. Please note that you are responsible to ensure the prior fees have been paid otherwise they are transferred to you the new owner.

Fees for January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 are $210.00 per year (incl GST) for single family residential and muilti-residential homes.
Fiscal year is from January 1 to December 31
